SELF-DEFENSE REMOTE LEARNING MEMEBERSHIP
The Pittsburgh Combat Club is very excited to announce that the Self-Defense Remote Learning membership is now LIVE! This means that even if you do not live in the Pittsburgh region, you can still train in what we do and how we do it - just with some caveats.
This program has been years in the making with David wanting to provide the same quality of instruction remotely that students in class get locally. There are some changes due to the complexity of some aspects of training that had to be made.
Here’s a cliff notes size explanation of the SDRL.
FORMAT:
Accepted students will be given access to learning modules. Modules cover the three key training areas of self-defense that the Pittsburgh Combat Club focuses on: unarmed, blunt weapon and edged weapon fighting. Each of these key training areas will be further broken down into sub-modules for easy learning and retention. Live classes may also be available remotely for streaming if/when needed.
After watching and practicing the content of a specific module, the student will submit a video of themselves performing the module’s technique/focus.
EVALUATION & FEEDBACK:
David and the PCC staff instructors will evaluate the students’ videos and follow-up with suggestions and feedback for improvement.
Again, we are super excited to be able to bring this to you who are outside of the Pittsburgh region. If you have any questions, please reach out to us. We would love to hear from you.
